2 Lines Poetry also known as 2 Lines Shayari is another form of  Urdu Poetry and it is used to express the feeling of love, sadness, quotes, or motivation in just 2 lines and just two lines tell the whole meaning of life, and also express the feeling of a person. These meaningful lines convey the emotions of a person. 

The best Urdu Petry mostly used in speeches long essay sometimes also in debate before its start. Traditional two lines Urdu Shayari has spoken in the poetry competition (mehfil or mushaira) held in the Urdu language.

یوں نہ کر برباد مجھے باز آجا میرا دل دکھانے سے

میں تو انسان ہوں پتھر بھی ٹوٹ جاتا ہے آزمانے سے

یقیں رکھتا نہیں ہوں میں کسی کچے تعلق سے

جو دھاگہ ٹوٹنے والا ہو اس کو توڑ دیتا ہوں

تیرے سلوک سے کوئی شکایت نہیں خدا کی قسم

میرے خلوص میں ہی شاید کوئی کمی ہوگی

شہزادی کی جھلک سے تو یہی لگتا ہے

اس ریاست میں نہیں ہوگا خزانہ کوئی اور
